Dave, corned beef is far better than Spam, I do like it when it is fried though

Jim, Spam has gone upmarket now - loads of different flavours to enjoy.
I am not a Corned Beef fan though. Not bad in a hash, if properly cooked, but never in a sandwhich.
I still have flashbacks of the corned beef & onion sandwiches that was forced on us Squaddies in the dreaded "White Death" cardboard lunch boxes from Cookhouses!
Same crap in them, every day and for every occasion, regardless of location or weather!!!! The only good things were the crisps (somehow the Slop Jockies always managed to crush them first) and the Penguins.
The rest usuall ended up in the 'Black nasty' garbage bags.
Thank God for Bratttie Wagons in Germany!
